Park of Cottage Grove trailed Stillwater by one in the first period, but the Wolfpack did not give up and the game ended in a 1-1 (OT) tie.

The Ponies kept Park of Cottage Grove's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matthew Palmquist made 33 saves on 34 shots.

Stillwater was led by Mitch Reinke, who scored the team's only goal. Reinke scored on the power play 2:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stillwater. Stotts Wyatt assisted on the tally.

The Wolfpack could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Park of Cottage Grove was led by Jake Young, who scored the team's only goal. Young scored on the power play 3:47 into the second period to make the score 1-1. The Wolfpack had gotten the advantage when the Ponies' Nick Anderson was sent off for tripping.

Colton Anderson made 17 saves for Stillwater on 18 shots. The Ponies incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Park of Cottage Grove registered one goal on five power play opportunities.
