Brauesen's hat trick boosts Roseville over Park of Cottage Grove, 10-4

A hat trick by Colton Brauesen was the highlight in Raiders' 10-4 win against the Park of Cottage Grove Wolfpack.

Brauesen got on the scoresheet 2:13 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:35 into the second and at 9:57 into the third.

The Roseville Raiders kept Park of Cottage Grove's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyle Strand made 41 saves on 51 shots. Roseville outdid its season average for goals scored. The Raiders average 3.6 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals.

Roseville also got points from Ryan Larson, who also had one goal and three assists and Alex Brauesen, who also grabbed one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Roseville included Andrerw Colvard, who had three and Riley McCann and Ross Stecklein, who scored one goal each. In addition, Roseville received assists from Pearcy Marks, who had two, Tommy Hyvihld, who had three, and Ryan Novotny and Robb Stautz, who contributed one a piece.

The Wolfpack were helped by Nicholas Gamache, who registered one goal. Gamache scored 15:54 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Roseville. Cody Newton provided the assist. Park of Cottage Grove additionally got points from Newton, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Cole Beaton also scored for Park of Cottage Grove. More assists for Park of Cottage Grove came via Jacob Garr, who had one and Andrew Peterson and Eric Stoffel, who contributed two a piece.

Zach Larson recorded 22 saves for Roseville. The Raiders incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Park of Cottage Grove incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
