The Northern Lakes Lightning were firing on all cylinders against the Bagley/Foston Flyers, and when the final buzzer sounded Lightning emerged with a 7-2 win.

Aspen Florey had two goals and two assists to lead Northern Lakes. Florey scored the first of his two goals at 4:21 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Northern Lakes. Gaven Bickford assisted on the tally. Florey's next tally made the score 4-0 Northern Lakes with 12:23 left in the second period. An elbowing call on Ben Moe put the Lightning on the penalty kill.

Northern Lakes forced Bagley/Foston goalie Kenneth Davis to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. The Lightning's goal total was higher than their season average. Northern Lakes has scored at the pace of 3.9 goals per game during the current campaign.
