The Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats scored three goals in the second period to pull away from Amery WI and clinch a 7-0 win.

Bradee Thompson had two goals and one assist to lead Chisago Lakes Area. Thompson scored the first of his two goals at 9:57 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chisago Lakes Area. Blake Lizotte provided the assist. Thompson's next tally made the score 2-0 Chisago Lakes Area with 17:42 left in the second period. The Wildcats had taken the advantage when Amery WI's Jake Mullendore got sent off for interference. Jacob Speight assisted on the tally.

Jacob Dubose spearheaded the defensive effort for Chisago Lakes Area, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 28 saves for the shutout. Dubose managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.22 prior to the game.
