The St. Michael-Albertville Knights' Mike Ryan scored 5:56 into overtime to beat the Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake Moose, 3-2 (OT).

David Anderson had two goals to lead St. Michael-Albertville to victory. Anderson's tallies came at 16:11 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and 16:11 into the second to make the score 2-1 St. Michael-Albertville.

Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake was unable to stop the Knights from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Michael-Albertville eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

In addition, St. Michael-Albertville received assists from Zac Borgen, who had two and Aaron Michaelson, Tanner Starr, Jon Gibbs, and Connor Spetz, who each chipped in one.

The Moose did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 11 saves.

Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake was helped by Colton Jones, who racked up one goal. Jones scored 2:04 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake also got a goal from Nate Nelson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake were Oliver Winsor, who had one.

Matt Borgen made 11 saves for the Knights on 13 shots. St. Michael-Albertville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Moose's Darien Jones stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced. Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
