Jared Bethune gave the Warroad Warriors a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Lake of the Woods/Indus Bears when he scored 6:27 into the extra period.

Warroad was led by Bethune, who registered one goal.

Warroad also got a goal from Brandon Newhouse as well. Other players who recorded assists for Warroad were Zach Johnston, Luke Jaycox, and Ben Smieja, who each chipped in one.

Lake of the Woods/Indus managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Bears wound up below its season average of 6.0 penalty minutes per game. Lake of the Woods/Indus found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 14 shots against the Warriors' defense.

The Bears were led by Carter Chorney, who scored the team's only goal. Chorney scored on the power play 11:46 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Lake of the Woods/Indus earned a power play opportunity when Smieja was put in the box for tripping. Cole Nelson picked up the assist.

Justin King made 13 saves for Warroad on 14 shots. The Warriors incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Kyle Olson rejected 28 shots on goal for the Bears. Lake of the Woods/Indus registered one goal on two power play opportunities.
