Behind a great game by Brennan McGuire, who had two goals, the Achiever NE Academy Aces defeated the Windom Area Eagles, 5-2.

McGuire scored on the power play at 4:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Achiever NE Academy and again while on the power play 12:10 into the second to make the score 2-2.

Achiever NE Academy stifled Windom Area's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Achiever NE Academy also got points from Ryan Finnegan, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Baron Thompson, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Achiever NE Academy also got a goal from Cameron Hamlet as well. More assists for Achiever NE Academy came via Parker Butler and Cory Sprague, who each chipped in one.
