Hill-Murray's Becker deadly on offense in 3-0 win against South St.PaulWakota Fri, Dec 13, 2013 Sam Becker was all over the ice for the Hill-Murray Pioneers, as he tallied two goals in Hill-Murray's 3-0 win over the South St.Paul Packers. Becker's tallies came on the power play at 25 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Hill-Murray and 8:28 into the second to make the score 3-0 Hill-Murray.The Pioneers did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Hill-Murray averages 5.3 goals per game. By firing 41 shots on goal, the Pioneers exceeded the 1.9 shot they average per game this year. Hill-Murray also got a goal from Colten Greeder as well. More assists for Hill-Murray came via Josh French, Matt Littler, Ryan Black, and Mitch Slattery, who contributed one a piece. South St.Paul's offense operated below it season average. The Packers put an average of 2.5 pucks into the net per game. South St.Paul's offense was handcuffed by Hill-Murray's defensive play, and the Packers managed only 11 shots on goal during the game.
