South St.Paul beats Henry Sibley 5-4 as Brandecker gets hat trick

The Henry Sibley Warriors could not stop the South St.Paul Packers' Billy Brandecker, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-4 win.

Brandecker's first goal came 2:26 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:50 into the third and at 16:16 into the third.

South St.Paul's offense rang up 36 shots on Henry Sibley's net. The Packers surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, South St.Paul averages 2.8 goals per contest.

Nick Jerhoff also scored for South St.Paul. Other players who recorded assists for South St.Paul were Jake Hill, Alec Miller, Billy Marlow, and Jack Pietruzewski, who contributed one a piece.

The Warriors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four South St.Paul power plays.

Henry Sibley was led by Jack Coleman, who registered three goals. Henry Sibley also got points from T.J. Lang, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Henry Sibley received assists from Cole Lucken and Austin Westman, who each chipped in one.

Grant Amelse recorded 18 saves for the Packers. South St.Paul incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Warriors' Cody Dornbusch stopped 31 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Henry Sibley incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
