Lucas Debenedet had two goals and two assists to lead the International Falls Broncos to a 6-1 victory over the Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears.

Debenedet's tallies came at 10:12 into the second period to make the score 2-1 International Falls and 5:25 into the third to make the score 3-1 International Falls.

International Falls forced Eveleth-Gilbert goalie Chad Hietela to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.

International Falls additionally got points from Erik Lassila, who also racked up two goals and two assists. Jakob Ettestad also scored for International Falls. Eveleth-Gilbert's Hietela stopped 37 shots out of the 43 that he faced. The Golden Bears ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
