North Shore hangs on, beats Greenway 2-0Hodgins-Berardo Arena Sat, Jan 05, 2013 North Shore beat the Greenway Raiders, 2-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout. A goal 13:55 into the the first period by Luke Small proved to be the game winner, and powered North Shore to the victory.North Shore was led by Small, who finished with one goal and one assist. North Shore's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Greenway power plays. North Shore was held below its usual level of production. North Shore averages 4.3 goals per game. Jonah Koehler also scored for North Shore. Other players who recorded assists for North Shore were Nick Johnson, who had one. Greenway could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Raiders put an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game. Greenway could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game. North Shore's Zach Duresky stopped 23 shots out of the 23 that he faced. North Shore totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-8 on the power play. Mike LaDoux made 25 saves for the Raiders on 27 shots.
