The Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats survived a determined comeback attempt by the Hibbing / Chisholm Bluejackets on the way to a 5-4 win.

Chisago Lakes Area made the score 5-2 on a goal by Bradee Thompson at 13:00 in the second period, and Hibbing / Chisholm got as close as 5-4 when Colten Perkins scored 14:10 into the third period.

Chisago Lakes Area also got a goal from Jacob Speight as well. More assists for Chisago Lakes Area came via Trevor Lushanko, who had three and Brandon Gillespie, Trevor Bluhm, and Blake Lizotte, who contributed one a piece.

The 44 shots that the Bluejackets put on net surpassed Hibbing / Chisholm's average of 2.6 shots per game this season.

The Bluejackets were led by Adam Johnson, who registered two goals and two assists. Johnson scored the first of his two goals at 2:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hibbing / Chisholm.
