The Lake of the Woods/Indus Bears tried their best to erase a five-goal deficit, but the Crookston Pirates would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-4.

Crookston made the score 6-1 on a goal by Ryan Bittner at 7:04 in the third period, and Lake of the Woods/Indus got as close as 6-4 when Blake Olson scored 13:27 into the third period.

The Pirates forced the Bears goalie Kyle Olson to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Crookston was led by Ryan Edevold, who racked up three goals. Crookston additionally got points from Doug Larson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Crookston also got a goal from Dylan Klatt as well. In addition, Crookston received assists from Connor Morgan and Brady Heppner, who contributed two a piece.

Lake of the Woods/Indus was led by Victor Dahl, who had two goals. Dahl scored the first of his two goals at 20 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-1 Crookston.
