Thoma lifts Bagley/Foston over Red Lake Falls, 3-1

Behind a great game by Zach Thoma, who had two goals, the Bagley/Foston Flyers defeated the Red Lake Falls Eagles, 3-1.

Thoma's tallies came at 10:39 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and on the power play 12:55 into the second to make the score 2-1 Bagley/Foston.

Bagley/Foston kept Red Lake Falls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Wyatt Casavan made 28 saves on 31 shots.

Bagley/Foston also got points from Aaron Leintz, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. In addition, Bagley/Foston received assists from Lucas Olson and Iver Papke, who contributed one a piece.

The Eagles could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Red Lake Falls was led by Zack Landman, who scored the team's only goal. Landman scored 8:39 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Red Lake Falls. Matt Eskeli picked up the assist.

Ben Thoma made 24 saves for the Flyers on 25 shots. Bagley/Foston incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Eagles registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
