Chorney leads Lake of the Woods/Indus over Bagley/Foston, 6-2

Carter Chorney had one goal and two assists to lead the Lake of the Woods/Indus Bears to a 6-2 victory over the Bagley/Foston Flyers.

Chorney got on the board by slotting home a goal 2:56 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lake of the Woods/Indus. Evan Torgeson picked up the assist. Chorney dished an assist on Blake Olson's goal that made the score 3-2 Lake of the Woods/Indus at 15:15 into the first period. He added another helper on Cole Nelson's goal that made the score 4-2 Lake of the Woods/Indus at 1:24 into the second period.

Lake of the Woods/Indus' offense rang up 54 shots on Bagley/Foston's net. The Bears surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Lake of the Woods/Indus averages 2.6 goals per game. The Bears capitalized on the Flyers' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage. Lake of the Woods/Indus got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Lake of the Woods/Indus additionally got points from Victor Dahl, who also registered two goals and one assist. Lake of the Woods/Indus also got a goal from Zeke Beckel as well. In addition, Lake of the Woods/Indus received assists from Kenton Peters, who had one.

Kyle Olson recorded eight saves for the Bears. Lake of the Woods/Indus incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Andrew Gebhardt made 48 saves for the Flyers on 54 shots. Bagley/Foston totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
