The Warroad Warriors had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 3-0 win over the Bemidji Lumberjacks.

Warroad was led by Brandon Newhouse, who had one goal. Newhouse scored 4:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Warroad. Casey Anderson picked up the assist.

The Warriors excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Warroad also got points from Kobe Roth, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Jared Bethune, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Warroad were Ben Smieja and Quincy George, who contributed one a piece.

Warroad's Justin King stopped 21 shots out of the 21 that he faced. The Warriors incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Gabe Heifort recorded 26 saves for Bemidji. The Lumberjacks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
