In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the International Falls Broncos escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Thief River Falls/Goodridge Prowlers.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Derek White at 14:18 of the third period.

International Falls was paced by White, who grabbed one goal.

The Broncos stifled Thief River Falls/Goodridge's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

International Falls additionally got points from Erik Lassila, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Jack Mellstrom, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for International Falls came via Lucas Debenedet, who had one.

The Prowlers were helped by Zeb Nelson, who racked up one goal. Nelson scored 5:54 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Grady Pederson provided the assist. Thief River Falls/Goodridge also got a goal from Logan Engelstad as well. Other players who recorded assists for Thief River Falls/Goodridge were Isak Bergland, who had one.

International Falls' Wesley Gunnerson stopped 18 shots out of the 20 that he faced. The Broncos incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tanner Holmes made 24 saves for Thief River Falls/Goodridge on 27 shots. The Prowlers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
