LaValle's big game bests Henry Sibley in 7-0 Hill-Murray winAldrich Arena Sat, Feb 09, 2013 The Hill-Murray Pioneers' Zach LaValle had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-0 win over the Henry Sibley Warriors. LaValle found the back of the net on the power play 1:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hill-Murray and again while 15:30 into the second to make the score 6-0 Hill-Murray.With 53 shots on target during the contest, Hill-Murray exceeded the 2.5 shots it averages per game this year. Hill-Murray also got points from Sam Becker, who also tallied one goal and two assists and Mitch Slattery, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Hill-Murray also got a goal from Joey Anderson as well. More assists for Hill-Murray came via Logan Sharp, Mike Rawlings, Curt LaChappelle, Zach Mills, and Willie Brown, who each chipped in one. Henry Sibley could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Warriors put an average of 2.7 pucks into the net per game. Henry Sibley's offense was handcuffed by the Pioneers' defensive play, and the Warriors managed only eight shots on goal during the game. John Dugas made eight saves for Hill-Murray on eight shots. The Pioneers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Cody Dornbusch rejected 46 shots on goal for Henry Sibley. The Warriors incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
