Tom Novak racked up one point to lead the St. Thomas Academy Cadets to a 2-1 victory over the Breck School Mustangs.

St. Thomas Academy could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Cadets put an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

Alex Johnson also scored for St. Thomas Academy. Other players who recorded assists for St. Thomas Academy were Jack Dougherty, T.J. Samec, Wyatt Schmidt, and Tony Bretzman, who contributed one a piece.

Breck School was held below its usual level of production. The Mustangs average 5.0 goals per game.

Breck School was led by Michael Orke, who scored the team's only goal. Orke scored on the power play 2:25 into the second period to make the score 1-1. The Mustangs had gotten the advantage when St. Thomas Academy's Samec was sent off for roughing. Ben Gleekel picked up the assist.

The Cadets' David Zevnik stopped 18 shots out of the 19 that he faced. St. Thomas Academy incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Henry Johnson rejected 23 shots on goal for Breck School. The Mustangs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
