Dodge County and Richfield could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.

The Wildcats put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Spartans to score on any of their six power plays.

Dodge County was helped by Sam Wick, who grabbed one goal. Wick scored 7:08 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Cory Schillo assisted on the tally. Dodge County also got a goal from Samuel Robinson as well. More assists for Dodge County came via Christian Schillo, who had two.

Richfield kept the Wildcats' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joey Biwer made 36 saves on 39 shots.

The Spartans were helped by Kody Ahlstrand, who tallied one goal. Ahlstrand scored 2:45 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Richfield. Kevin Ahlstrand picked up the assist. Richfield additionally got points from Kevin Krohn, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. McCoy Jessen also scored for Richfield. In addition, Richfield received assists from Jack Stellon, who had one.

Dodge County incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. John Meyer recorded 19 saves for Richfield. The Spartans ended with 17 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major.
