Henry Sibley rips Richfield, 3-0

The Henry Sibley Warriors were firing on all cylinders against the Richfield Spartans, and when the final buzzer sounded Warriors emerged with a 3-0 win.

Henry Sibley was paced by Jack Coleman, who racked up one goal. Coleman scored 6:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Henry Sibley. Steve Malmgren provided the assist.

The Warriors' defensive effort looked to be improved. Henry Sibley averages 2.8 goals allowed per game.

Henry Sibley also got a goal from T.J. Lang as well. More assists for Henry Sibley came via Noah Nelson, who had one.

Richfield did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Spartans average 3.2 goals per game. Richfield's offense was handcuffed by the Warriors' defensive play, and the Spartans managed only 14 shots on goal during the game.

Henry Sibley's Jeremy Zeis stopped 14 shots out of the 14 that he faced. The Warriors incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. John Meyer made 23 saves for Richfield on 26 shots. The Spartans incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
