The game between the Red Wing Wingers and the Chanhassen Storm was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Red Wing emerged with a 3-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Anthony Kimmes secured the win for the Wingers with a goal in the third period.

Red Wing was sparked by Kimmes, who finished with one goal. Kimmes scored short handed 2:08 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Red Wing. The Wingers played down a man on Dylan Goggin's interference.

Red Wing excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Wingers' offense rang up 51 shots on Chanhassen's net.

Red Wing also got a goal from Taylor Hanson as well. More assists for Red Wing came via Alex Rezansoff and Michael Bigelbach, who contributed one a piece.

The Storm kept Red Wing's goalie busy throughout the game, and Preston Blaney made 31 saves on 33 shots.

Chanhassen was helped by Logan Wilkinson, who racked up one goal. Wilkinson scored 49 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Chanhassen. Jake Bever also scored for Chanhassen. In addition, Chanhassen received assists from Luke Rongitsch, who had one.

The Wingers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Storm's Harlin Paradise stopped 48 shots out of the 51 that he faced. Chanhassen incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
