In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Northfield Raiders escaped with a 4-2 victory over the Red Wing Wingers.

Northfield gained the winning advantage on a goal by Taylor Freiermuth 10:42 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

The Raiders was paced on offense by Freiermuth and Nate Picha, who combined for five points. Freiermuth grabbed one goal and two assists and Picha also added two goals.

Red Wing was unable to stop Northfield from sending pucks towards the net, and the Raiders eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Nathan Scofield also scored for Northfield. More assists for Northfield came via Logan VonRuden, who had two and Andrew Carroll and Andrew Scofield, who contributed one a piece.

The Wingers were helped by Alex Rezansoff, who finished with two goals. Rezansoff scored the first of his two goals at 38 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Red Wing. Dylan Goggin assisted on the tally. Rezansoff's next tally made the score 2-1 Red Wing with 12:05 left in the second period. Red Wing earned a power play opportunity when Eann Johnson was put in the box for high sticking. Goggin picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Red Wing were Taylor Hanson and Michael Bigelbach, who each chipped in one.

Spencer Jones made 21 saves for Northfield on 23 shots. The Raiders incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Preston Blaney recorded 28 saves for the Wingers. Red Wing incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
