Taylor Freiermuth gave the Northfield Raiders a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Chaska Hawks when he scored 5:56 into the extra period.

Northfield overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Raiders trailed 3-1 after a goal by Chaska's Brooks Wineberg at 11:57 in the second period. Northfield tied things up at 3-3 on a short handed goal by Alexander Morschiing at 12:34 in the third period.

Freiermuth had two goals to lead the Raiders to victory.

Northfield's offense rang up 43 shots on the Hawks' net.

Northfield also got a goal from Andrew Scofield as well. More assists for Northfield came via Logan VonRuden, who had two and Andrew Carroll and Nathan Scofield, who each chipped in one.

Mitch Kirchoff also scored for Chaska. Other players who recorded assists for Chaska were Jake Halsne, Kyle Hoyt, Eric Maki, and Andrew Henke, who contributed one a piece.

The Raiders' Spencer Jones stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Northfield incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Blake Jackson made 39 saves for Chaska on 43 shots. The Hawks incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
