The Chanhassen Storm tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the New Prague Spartans would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1.

New Prague made the score 2-0 on a goal by Seth Kriha at 3:56 in the third period, and Chanhassen got as close as 2-1 when Logan Wilkinson scored 10:33 into the third period.

Kriha had two goals to lead the Spartans to victory.

New Prague managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Spartans wound up below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game. New Prague's offense rang up 33 shots on the Storm's net.
