Alex Rezansoff had two goals and two assists to lead the Red Wing Wingers to a 5-1 victory over the Shakopee Sabers.

Rezansoff found the back of the net on the power play 10:23 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Red Wing and again while 8:22 into the third to make the score 4-1 Red Wing.

Red Wing's Preston Blaney was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Blaney managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 5.23 prior to the game.

The Wingers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Shakopee power plays. Red Wing's offense rang up 56 shots on Shakopee's net. The Wingers bested their season scoring average. Red Wing averages 2.3 goals per game.
