Barnes leads Academy of Holy Angels over Farmington, 5-2Schmitz-Maki Thu, Jan 03, 2013 The Academy of Holy Angels Stars' Marshall Barnes had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over the Farmington Tigers. Barnes beat Gage Overby with a shot 10:36 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Academy of Holy Angels. Mario Bianchi picked up the assist. Barnes dished an assist on Bianchi's goal that made the score 1-0 Academy of Holy Angels at 3:09 into the first period. He added another helper on Joe Sullivan's goal that made the score 5-2 Academy of Holy Angels at 16:57 into the third period.Academy of Holy Angels managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Stars finished below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. Academy of Holy Angels' offense was clicking better than usual and put 46 shots on goal during the game, better than the 3.6 shots per game it averages. Academy of Holy Angels also got points from Frankie Mork, who also registered one goal and one assist, Tommy Haeg, who also had one goal and one assist, and Bianchi, who also racked up one goal and two assists.
