The Academy of Holy Angels Stars' Marshall Barnes had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over the Farmington Tigers.

Barnes beat Gage Overby with a shot 10:36 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Academy of Holy Angels. Mario Bianchi picked up the assist. Barnes dished an assist on Bianchi's goal that made the score 1-0 Academy of Holy Angels at 3:09 into the first period. He added another helper on Joe Sullivan's goal that made the score 5-2 Academy of Holy Angels at 16:57 into the third period.

Academy of Holy Angels managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Stars finished below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. Academy of Holy Angels' offense was clicking better than usual and put 46 shots on goal during the game, better than the 3.6 shots per game it averages.

Academy of Holy Angels also got points from Frankie Mork, who also registered one goal and one assist, Tommy Haeg, who also had one goal and one assist, and Bianchi, who also racked up one goal and two assists. In addition, Academy of Holy Angels received assists from Christian Wise, who had one.

Farmington was helped by Justin Hyytinen, who finished with one goal. Hyytinen scored 5:58 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Grant Hauswirth assisted on the tally. Justin Novak also scored for Farmington.

The Stars' Nik Schmitz stopped 27 shots out of the 29 that he faced. Academy of Holy Angels registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Gage Overby made 41 saves for the Tigers on 45 shots. Farmington totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
