Chanhassen falls apart in second, loses to Bloomington Jefferson, 6-1Victoria Sat, Dec 08, 2012 The Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars scored three goals in the second period to pull away from the Chanhassen Storm and clinch a 6-1 win. Collin Hernon had one goal and two assists to lead Bloomington Jefferson. Hernon scored 10:07 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Bloomington Jefferson. Jono Lindquist picked up the assist. Chanhassen's power play was ineffective against the Jaguars' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. The Storm were unable to stop Bloomington Jefferson from sending pucks towards the net, and the Jaguars eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Bloomington Jefferson could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game. Bloomington Jefferson additionally got points from Lindquist, who also tallied two goals and one assist.
