The Rochester Lourdes Eagles pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the New Prague Spartans on a clutch goal by Griffen Slightham.

Rochester Lourdes was sparked by Slightham, who had one goal. Slightham scored 6:40 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Rochester Lourdes. Nathan Roth provided the assist.

The Eagles were led by Slightham, who racked up one goal.

Rochester Lourdes' offense rang up 38 shots on New Prague's net.

Rochester Lourdes also got points from Jason Samuelson, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ben Weir also scored for Rochester Lourdes. In addition, Rochester Lourdes received assists from Cody Cossette, Karl Krecke, and Alex Funk, who each chipped in one.

The Spartans were led by Austin Kilian, who registered two goals. Kilian scored the first of his two goals at 10:24 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Cody Meyer assisted on the tally. Kilian's next tally made the score 2-2 with 8:51 left in the third period. Seth Kriha provided the assist. Other players who recorded assists for New Prague were Austin Isaacson, who had one.

The Eagles' Andrew Ellingson stopped 16 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Rochester Lourdes incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Evan Bisek made 35 saves for New Prague on 38 shots. The Spartans totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
