Ehresmann leads Buffalo over Red Wing, 5-1Buffalo Civic Center Tue, Nov 27, 2012 Behind a great game by Cale Ehresmann, who had one goal and two assists, the Buffalo Bison defeated the Red Wing Wingers, 5-1. Ehresmann beat Preston Blaney with a shot 7:04 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Buffalo. Jack Patnode provided the assist. Ehresmann dished an assist on Jake Ramsey's goal that made the score 1-0 Buffalo at 13:02 into the first period. He added another helper on Ramsey's goal that made the score 4-1 Buffalo at 10:50 into the third period.Buffalo pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 30 penalty minutes. The Bison put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Red Wing to score on any of its six power plays. Buffalo also got points from Patnode, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Buffalo also got a goal from Jesse Sullivan as well. In addition, Buffalo received assists from Jerame Schueltzle and Hunter Thompson, who each chipped in one and Gunnar Goodmanson and Dylan Kumlin, who contributed two a piece. The Wingers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Buffalo power plays. Red Wing was led by Alex Rezansoff, who scored the team's only goal. Rezansoff scored 15:32 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Buffalo. Taylor Hanson picked up the assist. Tim Harkness recorded 27 saves for Buffalo. Blaney rejected 18 shots on goal for the Wingers. Red Wing incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
