The Northfield Raiders tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the New Prague Spartans held on for a 3-1 victory.

A goal by Cody Meyer put New Prague up 3-0 in the third period, but Northfield pulled to within two on Andrew Scofield's tally 12:48 into the third period.

The Spartans were led by Austin Kottke, who finished with one goal. Kottke scored 11:49 into the second period to make the score 2-0 New Prague. Austin Isaacson provided the assist.

New Prague also got points from Nick Sampson, who also tallied one goal and one assist.

The Raiders could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Northfield puts an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game.

Evan Bisek made 19 saves for New Prague on 20 shots. The Spartans incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Spencer Jones recorded 26 saves for the Raiders. Northfield incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
