New Prague and Red Wing could not settle their match and fought to a 2-2 tie.

The Spartans were helped by Jordan Lein, who grabbed one goal. Lein scored 15:02 into the first period to make the score 1-1. New Prague also got a goal from Lucas Binger as well. Other players who recorded assists for New Prague were Austin Kilian, who had one.

The Wingers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Prague to score on any of its three power plays. Red Wing's offense rang up 33 shots on the Spartans' net.

The Wingers were helped by Michael Bigelbach, who had one goal. Bigelbach scored 14:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Red Wing. Nick Sammon provided the assist. Red Wing also got points from Sammon, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Red Wing came via Jamie Nevitt and Jack Gorman, who contributed one a piece.

Evan Bisek recorded 31 saves for New Prague. The Spartans incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Preston Blaney made 17 saves for Red Wing on 19 shots. The Wingers totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play.
