The Minnetonka Skippers were firing on all cylinders against the Chanhassen Storm, and when the final buzzer sounded Skippers emerged with a 6-0 win.

Minnetonka was led by Jared Ridge, who tallied one goal and one assist. Ridge scored 5:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Minnetonka. Max Coatta picked up the assist.

The Skippers managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Minnetonka ended up below its season average of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. By firing 50 shots on goal, the Skippers exceeded the 1.9 shot they average per game this year.

Minnetonka also got points from Tommy Vannelli, who also registered one goal and one assist, Coatta, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Charlie Huminski, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Tommy Brandabur, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
