Huge game by Roo boosts Totino-Grace over Spring Lake Park, 4-0

TJ Roo was all over the ice for the Totino-Grace Eagles, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Totino-Grace's 4-0 win over the Spring Lake Park Panthers.

Roo's tallies came on the power play at 7:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Totino-Grace and 4:12 into the second to make the score 2-0 Totino-Grace.

The Eagles were boosted by Rory Davidowski, who turned in a shutout with 26 saves. Davidowski certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.47 entering the contest.

Totino-Grace excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Eagles were held below their usual level of production. Totino-Grace averages 6.3 goals per game.

Totino-Grace also got a goal from Connor Schmidt as well. In addition, Totino-Grace received assists from Jason Krych, who had two and Carter Roo, Brandon Hilliard, and Carter Lyons, who contributed one a piece.

Spring Lake Park could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Panthers put an average of 2.8 pucks into the net per game.

The Eagles incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities. Aaron Furlano recorded 13 saves for Spring Lake Park.
