Totino-Grace beats Robbinsdale Cooper 9-0 as Roo gets hat trickNew Hope North Thu, Feb 07, 2013 TJ Roo netted a hat trick to lead the Totino-Grace Eagles over the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks, 9-0. Roo notched his first tally 4:45 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:56 into the second and at 15:33 into the second.Totino-Grace's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Robbinsdale Cooper power plays. The Eagles' defense was surprisingly good. Totino-Grace allows 2.2 goals per game. Robbinsdale Cooper was unable to stop the Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and Totino-Grace eventually piled up 52 shots on goal. The Eagles found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Totino-Grace averages 5.3 goals per game. Totino-Grace also got points from Kyle Brodt, who also had two goals and three assists to lead the team in points, Derek Lodermeier, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Joey Brey, who also registered two goals and one assist. Totino-Grace also got a goal from Jason Krych as well. Other players who recorded assists for Totino-Grace were Charlie Miller, Noah Vosen, Carter Roo, Matt Olson, Brennan Swan, and Kai Barber, who each chipped in one. The Hawks were held below their usual level of production. Robbinsdale Cooper averages 3.6 goals per game. The Hawks' offense were handcuffed by the Eagles' defensive play, and Robbinsdale Cooper managed only four shots on goal during the game. Totino-Grace's Rory Davidowski stopped four shots out of the four that he faced. The Eagles incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities. Keegan Husom made 43 saves for the Hawks on 52 shots.
