Lodermeier's hat trick boosts Totino-Grace over St.Louis Park, 7-1

Derek Lodermeier netted a hat trick to lead the Totino-Grace Eagles over the St.Louis Park Orioles, 7-1.

Lodermeier's first goal came 3:11 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:12 into the third and at 8:50 into the third.

Totino-Grace excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Eagles' offense rang up 47 shots on St.Louis Park's net. Totino-Grace could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Totino-Grace additionally got points from Connor Schmidt, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Totino-Grace also had goals scored by Brandon Hilliard, who had one and Noah Vosen, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Totino-Grace were Chandler Nauman and Kai Barber, who each chipped in one and Carter Roo and TJ Roo, who contributed three a piece.

The Orioles did not challenge the opposing goaltender, racking up only 11 shots on net to force 10 saves. Still, the total topped St.Louis Park's average of 1.0 per game this year.

The Orioles were led by CARLOS SIGUENZA, who scored the team's only goal. SIGUENZA scored 1:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St.Louis Park. JOE KRAMER provided the assist.

Rory Davidowski rejected 10 shots on goal for the Eagles. Totino-Grace registered two goals on four power play opportunities. RYAN FROOM made 40 saves for St.Louis Park on 47 shots. The Orioles incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
