Totino-Grace rolls over St.Louis Park, 7-3

The Totino-Grace Eagles were firing on all cylinders against the St.Louis Park Orioles, and when the final buzzer sounded Eagles emerged with a 7-3 win.

TJ Roo was all over the ice for Totino-Grace, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Roo scored the first of his two goals at 4:39 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Totino-Grace. Roo's next tally made the score 5-1 Totino-Grace with 13:30 left in the second period. Carter Roo picked up the assist.

The Eagles' offense rang up 44 shots on St.Louis Park's net.

Totino-Grace also got points from Jason Krych, who also registered one goal and four assists to lead the team in points. Totino-Grace also had goals scored by Kai Barber, who had two and Noah Vosen and Derek Lodermeier, who scored one goal each. More assists for Totino-Grace came via Blake Vagle, who had two.

The Orioles put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Totino-Grace to score on any of its three power plays. By firing 21 shots on goal, St.Louis Park exceeded the 1.4 shot it averages per game this year. The Orioles could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

St.Louis Park was helped by JACOB LUKASAVAGE, who tallied one goal. LUKASAVAGE scored 19 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 St.Louis Park. T.J. HALLFIN assisted on the tally. St.Louis Park also got a goal from CURT GREENBUSH as well. In addition, St.Louis Park received assists from NICK OWENS and FRANK JERMUSEK, who each chipped in one.

Michael Larson recorded 18 saves for the Eagles. Totino-Grace incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Orioles' ERIC SPEICHER stopped 37 shots out of the 44 that he faced. St.Louis Park registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
