Totino-Grace beats Achiever NE Academy 8-1 as Lodermeier gets hat trickRichfield Sat, Dec 22, 2012 The Achiever NE Academy Aces could not stop the Totino-Grace Eagles' Derek Lodermeier, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-1 win. Lodermeier notched his first tally 2:30 into the second period. He then added goals at 10:28 into the second and at 4:42 into the third.Totino-Grace led by only one goal at the end of the first period, but put the game away by scoring five goals in the second. The Eagles' Rory Davidowski was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 31 saves and let only one puck past him. Davidowski certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.96 entering the contest. Totino-Grace stifled Achiever NE Academy's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Aces were unable to stop the Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and Totino-Grace eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. The Eagles bested their season scoring average. Totino-Grace averages 5.4 goals per game. Totino-Grace additionally got points from Marco Lucarelli, who also had one goal and one assist and TJ Roo, who also finished with one goal and four assists. Others who scored for Totino-Grace included Kai Barber, who had one and Chandler Nauman, who had two. In addition, Totino-Grace received assists from Jason Krych, who had two and Noah Vosen, Carter Roo, and Carter Lyons, who contributed one a piece.
