Totino-Grace beats Rogers 9-3 as Roo gets hat trickParade Ice Garden Tue, Dec 18, 2012 Carter Roo lifted the Totino-Grace Eagles to a 9-3 victory with a hat trick against the Rogers Royals. Roo notched his first tally 2:00 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:54 into the second and at 16:59 into the third.Totino-Grace put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Rogers to score on any of its three power plays. The Eagles forced the Royals goalie Blake Ternus to work between the pipes, taking 57 shots. Totino-Grace outdid its season average for goals scored. The Eagles have scored at the pace of 4.7 goals per game during the current campaign. Totino-Grace additionally got points from TJ Roo, who also racked up one goal and four assists to lead the team in points, Jason Krych, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Derek Lodermeier, who also had two goals and two assists. Connor Schmidt also scored for Totino-Grace.
