Waconia survives St.Louis Park comeback, wins 4-2St. Louis Park East Sat, Dec 01, 2012 The Waconia Wildcats survived a determined comeback attempt by the St.Louis Park Orioles on the way to a 4-2 win. Waconia made the score 4-1 on a goal by Tanner Riebel at 8:52 in the third period, and St.Louis Park got as close as 4-2 when MILES MULARKY scored 12:16 into the third period. Riebel had two goals to lead the Wildcats to victory. Waconia also got a goal from Blaine Wilsey as well. Other players who recorded assists for Waconia were Chris Haus and Colin Reuse, who contributed one a piece. St.Louis Park additionally got points from CASEY PLENDER, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, St.Louis Park received assists from CURT GREENBUSH, NICK OWENS, and CHARLIE HILLS, who each chipped in one. Nathan Kovach rejected 19 shots on goal for Waconia. The Wildcats incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. RYAN FROOM recorded 24 saves for the Orioles. St.Louis Park totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play.
