Gorowsky's big game bests Osseo in 6-2 Centennial win

The Centennial Cougars' Hans Gorowsky had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-2 win over the Osseo Orioles.

Gorowsky found the back of the net on the power play 3:06 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Centennial and again while 16:22 into the third to make the score 6-2 Centennial.

Centennial's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Osseo power plays. With 47 shots on target during the contest, the Cougars exceeded the 0.9 shots they average per game this year.

Centennial also got points from Wyatt Close, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Andrew Bertrand, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Centennial also got a goal from Adam Anderson as well. In addition, Centennial received assists from Will Juergens, who had two, Ryner Gorowsky, who had three, and Tommy Heron and Jacob Swanson, who contributed one a piece.

Osseo was led by Drew Lofgren, who finished with one goal. Lofgren scored 15:57 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Centennial. Jared Vance also scored for Osseo. More assists for Osseo came via Zach Gross, who had one.

Centennial's Patrick Munson stopped 15 shots out of the 17 that he faced. The Cougars totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 2-for-5 on the power play. Connor Dahlberg recorded 41 saves for the Orioles. Osseo incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
