Rochester John Marshall rips Coon Rapids, 5-2

The Rochester John Marshall Rockets were firing on all cylinders against the Coon Rapids Cardinals, and when the final buzzer sounded Rockets emerged with a 5-2 win.

Rochester John Marshall was sparked by Sam Broman, who racked up one goal and one assist. Broman scored 6:34 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Rochester John Marshall. Jared Bromberg picked up the assist.

The Rockets' offense rang up 35 shots on Coon Rapids' net.

Rochester John Marshall also had goals scored by Hunter Heightland, who had two and Alex Lovett and Jake Dravis, who scored one goal each. In addition, Rochester John Marshall received assists from Nick Paulson, who had two and Gavin Sandwick and Alec McGinn, who each chipped in one.

The Cardinals were helped by Seth Johnson, who racked up one goal. Johnson scored 12:17 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Rochester John Marshall. Lukas Ruff assisted on the tally. Samuel Naegele also scored for Coon Rapids. More assists for Coon Rapids came via Tyler Wojciechowski, who had one.

Jacob Garvey recorded 20 saves for Rochester John Marshall. The Rockets avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. Coon Rapids' Zachary St. John stopped 30 shots out of the 35 that he faced. The Cardinals ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
