Wyatt Close gave the Centennial Cougars a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons when he scored 6:17 into the extra period.

Centennial was led by Close, who finished with one goal.

The 40 shots that the Cougars put on net surpassed Centennial's average of 0.9 shots per game this season.

Centennial also got a goal from Ryner Gorowsky as well. In addition, Centennial received assists from Ryan Meany, Hans Gorowsky, and Adam Anderson, who contributed one a piece.

Robbinsdale Armstrong put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Cougars to score on any of their three power plays. The Falcons' offense was clicking better than usual and put 20 shots on goal during the game, better than the 1.1 shot per game they average.

Robbinsdale Armstrong was led by Cole Goergen, who scored the team's only goal. Goergen scored 9:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Robbinsdale Armstrong. Chris Arneson assisted on the tally.

Patrick Munson made 19 saves for Centennial on 20 shots. The Cougars incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Brendan Murphy rejected 38 shots on goal for the Falcons. Robbinsdale Armstrong incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
