The Blaine Bengals scored three goals in the second period to pull away from the Centennial Cougars and clinch an 8-3 win.

Jesse Norling had one goal and two assists to lead Blaine. Norling scored 9:44 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Blaine. Joey Lau provided the assist.

The Bengals outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, Blaine averages 4.8 goals per contest. The defensemen of the Bengals were also effective in Centennial's zone, and came away with two goals. Centennial was led by Hans Gorowsky, who racked up two goals and one assist. Gorowsky scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 5:48 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Cougars earned a power play opportunity when Lau was put in the box for elbowing. Ryner Gorowsky assisted on the tally.
