Early goals doom Robbinsdale Cooper, falls to Robbinsdale Armstrong, 13-1

The Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks fell behind early, and the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons kept piling on the points on the way to a 13-1 victory.

Robbinsdale Armstrong got the win behind a great game by Blake Babineau, who had one goal and three assists. Babineau scored on the power play 6:28 into the first period to make the score 4-0 Robbinsdale Armstrong. A slashing penalty on Justin Regnier had put the Falcons on the power play. Nick Malmgren assisted on the tally.

Robbinsdale Armstrong's goal total was higher than its season average. The Falcons have scored at the pace of 3.2 goals per game during the current campaign. Robbinsdale Armstrong capitalized on Robbinsdale Cooper's penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage.

Robbinsdale Armstrong also got points from Malmgren, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, Cole Goergen, who also registered one goal and one assist, Brady Johnson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Christopher Haugen, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Cory Gilbert, who also had one goal and two assists. Robbinsdale Armstrong also got a goal from Ben Hansen as well. More assists for Robbinsdale Armstrong came via Kristian Evans, who had two, Shea Borer, who had three, and Brady Anderson, Noah Cowan, and Jack McDonough, who contributed one a piece.

The Hawks' offense operated below they season average. Robbinsdale Cooper puts an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game.

The Hawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities.
