Centennial downs Anoka, 5-0

Jordan Pitlick had one point to lead the Centennial Cougars to a 5-0 victory over the Anoka Tornadoes.

Centennial was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. The Cougars allow 2.1 goals per game. The 41 shots that Centennial put on net surpassed the Cougars' average of 1.6 shot per game this season.

Centennial additionally got points from Kenny Sinna, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Ryner Gorowsky, who also registered one goal and one assist. Centennial also got a goal from Adam Anderson as well. In addition, Centennial received assists from Wyatt Close, Andrew Bertrand, Ryan Meany, Connor Lovick, and Tommy Heron, who each chipped in one.

Anoka found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere nine shots against Centennial's defense.

Blake Miller made nine saves for the Cougars on nine shots. Centennial incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Robbie Goor rejected 36 shots on goal for the Tornadoes. Anoka incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
