Larson's big game bests Anoka in 6-3 Roseville winRoseville Sat, Dec 22, 2012 Ryan Larson was all over the ice for the Roseville Raiders, as he tallied two goals and three assists in Roseville's 6-3 win over the Anoka Tornadoes. Larson's tallies came at 6:48 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Roseville and 5:16 into the third to make the score 5-3 Roseville.The Raiders' offense rang up 31 shots on Anoka's net. Roseville found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Raiders average 3.8 goals per game. Penalties took their toll on Roseville, as its penalty kill unit let in three power play goals. Roseville also got points from Colton Brauesen, who also tallied two goals and two assists and Alex Brauesen, who also registered one goal and one assist. Andrerw Colvard also scored for Roseville. In addition, Roseville received assists from Ross Stecklein and Tony Arias, who contributed one a piece. The Tornadoes stifled the Raiders' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Anoka was led by Jacob Mack, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Mack scored on the power play 11:24 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Roseville. The Tornadoes had gained a power play chance when Brauesen was whistled for roughing. Chase West assisted on the tally. Anoka also got a goal from Andrew Dallum as well. Other players who recorded assists for Anoka were Riley Perry, who had one. Zach Larson rejected 21 shots on goal for Roseville. The Raiders incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Nick Cameron recorded 25 saves for Anoka. The Tornadoes incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
