Ryner Gorowsky had two goals to lead Centennial to victory. Gorowsky scored at 5:51 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Centennial and again while 15:56 into the third to make the score 3-0 Centennial.

The Cougars' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Maple Grove power plays. With 40 shots on target during the contest, Centennial exceeded the 2.8 shots it averages per game this year.
