The Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Coon Rapids Cardinals on a clutch goal by Ben Hansen.

Robbinsdale Armstrong was sparked by Hansen, who had one goal. Hansen scored on the power play 1:20 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Robbinsdale Armstrong. Brady Johnson assisted on the tally.

In a losing effort, Coon Rapids was paced by Brett Johnson, who racked up two goals. Johnson scored the first of his two goals at 3:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Coon Rapids. Seth Johnson picked up the assist. Johnson's next tally made the score 2-2 with 6:14 left in the third period. Sam Naegele assisted on the tally.

The Falcons' offense rang up 60 shots on the Cardinals' net.

Robbinsdale Armstrong additionally got points from Cole Goergen, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Robbinsdale Armstrong also got a goal from Cory Gilbert as well. Other players who recorded assists for Robbinsdale Armstrong were Jarad Carr and Brady Anderson, who contributed one a piece.

Coon Rapids struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 14 penalty minutes for four opposing power plays.

Grant Mathiason recorded 15 saves for Robbinsdale Armstrong. The Falcons incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Justin Ball made 57 saves for the Cardinals on 60 shots. Coon Rapids registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
