The Elk River Elks' Peter Jones scored 8:00 into overtime to beat the Anoka Tornadoes, 2-1 (OT).

Elk River was led by Jones, who finished with one goal and one assist.

Elk River also got a goal from Reggie Lutz as well. In addition, Elk River received assists from Andrew Zerban, who had one and Wyatt Ege, who had two.

The Tornadoes were led by Chase West, who scored the team's only goal. West scored 15:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Anoka. Riley Perry provided the assist.

MacLean Berglove recorded 20 saves for Elk River. The Elks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Anoka's Robbie Goor stopped 37 shots out of the 39 that he faced. The Tornadoes totaled 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
